#YOUTH STRIKE - ART BUILD FOR THE GLOBAL YOUTH CLIMATE STRIKE

For two weeks Thomas Greene Park in Gowanus Brooklyn was transformed into a massive art build in order to prepare for the September 20 #YouthStrike mobilizations across New York City. Materials, space and training was made available to hundreds of youth were invited to create giant banners, silkscreens and signs. On the day of the march, tens of thousands of young people took to the streets, from Red Hook to Manhattan to demand action on climate change.

The art builds were hosted as part of the TimeSeed exhibition in collaboration with Art Built Studio In The Park, 350.org and Fridays For Future.
